Driven by science. The story of Europe in space.
Since the 1960s European countries have collaborated on space activities and projects. Often not as well publicised as their better known American and Russian counterparts, these efforts have none the less made a significant contribution to our understanding of the cosmos. During World Space Week we take a look at some of these European achievements and what might be yet to come."
