Stargazing in North Norfolk with the Norfolk Wildlife Trust

On Saturday December 8th, Norwich Astronomical Society will be supporting NAS Member and acclaimed astrophotographer Shaun Reynolds at the Norfolk Wildlife Trust Visitor Centre in Cley Marshes. (postcode NR25 7SA)

Shaun will be exhibiting his astrophotography work at the Visitor Centre, and giving talks on the methods and equipment that he uses to produce the stunning photographs of our Norfolk night skies.

On the Saturday evening, Shaun will be joined by numerous volunteers from Norwich Astronomical Society who will be bringing their telescopes for visitors to look through, (providing the skies are clear).

Shaun has said that "Cley has one of the best, darkest skies in North Norfolk, and with the longer nights, awesome Winter objects to see, it should be a superb evening".

Details of the evening can be found on the Norfolk Wildlife Trust website at

NAS Chairman Roger Preece said  "It's a new venue for us, and offers people who live far from our Observatory at Seething the opportunity to enjoy the night skies from the beautiful North Norfolk Coast, and we look forward to seeing you there."
