Astronomer Laura Keating visited Seething Observatory
We were delighted to host Cambridge based PhD student and astronomer Laura Keating at Seething Observatory.
Laura's excellent talk was about how quasars were first discovered, their link to black holes, and why astronomers are studying them today to learn more about galactic evolution.
Was an excellent and informative talk from Laura, with lots of questions answered afterwards.
Laura is taking a research position in Toronto, Canada later this year; we wish her well in her future career and hope to see her again in the future at Seething.
