Safe Solar viewing on International SUNday at Fairhaven Gardens
With many thanks to our friends at Fairhaven Gardens, we're delighted to be supporting their Green Fest by providing Solar Scopes (and trained observers) so that you will be able to safely enjoy observing our nearest star (our Sun).
Fairhaven is always well worth a visit, and at this 'Family Friendly' event, there will be many activities for you to "have-a-go" at, plus sailing and canoeing. We'll have a number of members present throughout the day with solar scopes deployed (subject to the weather, of course) for you to have a look at the Sun in white light and Hydrogen alpha (an amazing view).
Full details of the event can be found on the Fairhaven Garden website http://www.fairhavengarden.co.uk
