Apollo – Celebrating 50 years since Mankind’s first steps

It has been 50 years since Man first stepped foot on the Moon, in one of humankind’s proudest moments of the 20th Century.
The Apollo missions were a focal point of the Space Race, taking place during times of political unrest and huge technological advancements, as two great powerhouses competed to go where no man had stepped before.

Chris Grimmer will guide the audience through the outstanding achievements, and ultimate sacrifices, made throughout the Apollo missions. Not forgetting even the earliest space missions that led to these, he will celebrate the courage and ingenuity of the men and women that led to that first landing and foot on Lunar soil.
