NAS Kids Astro Workshop for Norwich Science Festival (21st Oct 2017)

Start time: 10:00

Location: The Forum Norwich

Host: Debbie Forrester

Norwich Astronomical Society are supporting the Norwich Science Festival at the Forum on Saturday 21st October from 10:00 until 4pm.

Children can have a go at making their own shooting star or rocket and see how far they go, in our workshop led by Debbie Forrester.

Or how about designing their own planet in the ‘Paper Plate Planets’ challenge, or re-imagining one of our solar system planets instead?

Plus, help NAS design a funky solar system display: be creative and arty with out-of-this world wacky ideas to go on our display – will it be a paper plate planet, star, constellation, aurora or an alien?

There will also be a display of meteorites 'real rocks from space' and space memorabilia with model rockets for you to get up close and examine.
