Dr.Matt Taylor of the European Space Agency spoke this Autumn in Norwich.

On October 21st at 1pm, Dr, Matt Taylor gave the latest version of his talk "Chasing a Comet with the ESA Rosetta Mission".

In partnership with Dr. Phil Smith, of the Teacher Scientist Network, the talk was held in the main auditorium of the John Innes Centre.

The event was hosted by broadcaster, author and society president, Mark Thompson who introduced Matt.

This event was aimed at 5th / 6th form science students, Astronomy Societies and Members of the Public with an interest in Science.

Dr. Taylor is a superb speaker, his talk blends his scientific knowledge and enthusiasm for the subject. It was "standing room" at Seething Observatory earlier this year when he gave a talk to our members.

An excellent event attended by approximately 150 students and members of the public.

Massive thank to Dr. Matt and Leanne Taylor for visiting us again, and for taking the time to inspire numerous students during the talk and afterwards.

Thanks to Luke Powell and Denise Bradley who attended from the EDP and Evening News.
