2017 Children's Event (4th Feb 2017)

Location: Seething Observatory

Aimed at children aged 7 year upwards this event is especially catered for children with inquisitive minds and an interest in science. Held at the observatory, doors open from 2:00pm to 6:00pm. There will be activities throughout the day for children to participant in, view the observatory during the day and view the night skies when it gets dark.

No need to pre-book, just turn up on the day!

This is a mainly outdoor event and visitors should dress for the cold. Also, be warned, the site might be muddy in places. 

This is the running order of the planned timed activities. Other activities will be running throughout the afternoon.

Viewing through telescopes - solarscopes during the day and telescopes in the evening, weather permitting.

Delighted that the Norwich Branch of the British Science Association will be joining us too, with fun science activities to enjoy.

We'll be joined by Christine from The Flying Chef, who will be selling her famous gournmet hot-dogs on the day!
